Full Job Description

Educational Requirements: No degree, certificate or diploma required.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items manually.
• Operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks for the purpose of picking up and delivering various items and products.
• Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
• Assembling, installing, and setting up merchandise/products.
• Maintaining records of items received and delivered.
• Preparing, packaging, and restocking goods.
• Transporting and handling dangerous goods with care.
• Accepting and delivering messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies.
• Loading and unloading goods, as well as sorting packages for delivery.
• Following directions, reading maps, and using trip planning aids effectively.
• Recording trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and reporting any problems encountered.
• Handling payments and receipts for goods.

Experience:

• Previous experience is an asset but not a requirement.
