Delivery Driver

 Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver in Kelowna, BC. This is a permanent, full-time position with a pay rate of $20 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items, as well as operating vehicles to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Education and Experience:

    Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

    No prior experience required; training will be provided

Tasks:

    Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand

    Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products

    Receive and relay information to central dispatch

    Keep a record of items received and delivered

    Load and unload goods

    Sort packages for delivery

    Follow directions and read maps

    Use maps and other trip planning aids

    Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems

    Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
