Full Job Description

Educational Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
• Loading and unloading goods as required.
• Utilizing maps and other trip planning aids to ensure efficient delivery routes.
• Recording trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered on the road.
• Handling payments and receipts for goods delivered or picked up.
• Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and overseeing all aspects of the vehicle's maintenance and condition.

Experience:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Newcomers and refugees, assisting with foreign credential recognition and integration into the workforce.
• Youths, by participating in initiatives that promote youth employment.
• Indigenous people, through engagement in programs supporting employment and opportunities for Indigenous communities.
