Technical Sales Specialist Position in Farm Machinery Industry

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:


  • Estimate costs for equipment installation.
  • Boost sales by engaging with existing clients.
  • Interpret blueprints to assess structure dimensions, system configurations, and material requirements.
  • Identify and approach potential clients to expand the customer base.
  • Evaluate clients' needs and financial capabilities to suggest suitable products or services.
  • Develop detailed reports and proposals demonstrating the advantages of our products/services.
  • Conduct persuasive sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales contracts.
  • Offer post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
  • Present informative sessions on the benefits and applications of our offerings.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to products and services.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment-related problems.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales process.

Salary & Benefits:


  • Base Salary: $62,525.16/year
  • Commission: 0.6% on NET sales.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field with a focus on business development, sales, or marketing.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the farm machinery industry or similar, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with manure separation and green bedding technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to leverage technology for sales processes.
  • Capability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Personal skills should include a client-focused approach, superb interpersonal abilities, exceptional communication (both oral and written), organizational skills, reliability, and teamwork.
