Full-Time Cherry Picking Job in Winfield, BC - Overtime Available

Location: Winfield, BC

Job Type: Full-time with opportunities for overtime

Environment & Setting:

• This job is outdoors, working in rural areas.
• Work conditions can be at heights, and it can get quite hot.
• The primary task involves picking cherries in rows and orchards.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• No specific degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Previous experience (1 to less than 7 months) in similar roles is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking row and orchard crops, specifically cherries.
• Operating equipment and machinery like tractors as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Must be capable of repetitive tasks and have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Requires the ability to distinguish between colors, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling.
• Must be able to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Personal Suitability:

• Looking for individuals who are flexible, reliable, and can work well in a team.

Screening Question:

• Must legally be able to work in Canada.
