 Job Title: Housekeeper

Job Overview: As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the employer's or client's home. Your tasks will include sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets and upholstery, making beds, changing sheets, restocking linen closets, and cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Additionally, you will be responsible for picking up debris, emptying trash containers, laundering clothing and linens, performing light housekeeping duties, and washing windows, walls, and ceilings. You may also be required to clean changing rooms and showers.

Languages: English

Education: No degree certificate or diploma required

Experience: Experience is an asset

Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Mend clothing and linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
• Clean changing rooms and showers
