Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This role requires a high school graduation certificate and involves a wide range of administrative tasks. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arranging and coordinating seminars and conferences
  • Recording and preparing minutes of meetings
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Answering and relaying telephone calls and messages
  • Responding to electronic inquiries
  • Compiling data and statistics
  • Responding to employee questions and complaints
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
  • Liaising with management, union officials, and HR consultants
  • Arranging travel and related itineraries
  • Greeting people and directing them to contacts or service areas
  • Setting up and maintaining manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Typing and proofreading correspondence and documents
  • Conducting research
  • Performing data entry

Requirements

  • Education: High school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
