About the Company: Movember is a leading charity dedicated to changing the face of men’s health globally. They focus on tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. In their mission to stop men dying too young, they are seeking a passionate Program Manager to join their team in Toronto and lead initiatives aimed at improving young men’s mental health across Canada.

About the Role: As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategic partnerships to support mental health programs for young men in Canada. You will collaborate with partners in sports and community mental health organizations, working closely with the North America Director, Young Men’s Mental Health to develop and deliver programs within the market strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic partnerships to support mental health programs for young men.
  • Collaborate with partners in sports and community mental health organizations.
  • Inform program design based on your mental health experience.
  • Articulate expectations of partners receiving program funding from Movember.
  • Monitor and report on performance relative to agreed KPIs.
  • Ensure monitoring and evaluation are embedded in the process.
  • Mitigate underperformance when required.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary level education or occupational qualifications in relevant mental health fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in project and program management.
  • Sound understanding of young men’s health issues and the mental health sector.
  • Experience in partnership development and management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
  • Highly developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Experienced communicator and presenter to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, global, and growth environment.

Bonus Points for:

  • Understanding and/or experience of organized sport settings and networks.
  • French language skills.
