Job Description:
As a Business Operations Control (BOC) Intern at TD Insurance, you'll play a vital role in the first line of defense model for managing risk. In this dynamic role, you'll support various governance and control-related activities, contributing to the enhancement of existing processes and ensuring their efficiency. Your responsibilities will include conducting control testing, managing regulatory change activities, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program
  • Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a desire for continuous learning and growth
  • Some knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and MS Teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and make sound decisions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
  • Knowledge of Insurance is an asset
