Role Summary: You will report to the Manager, Material Management, and be responsible for various supply chain management tasks. These include shipping and receiving medical supplies and equipment, inventory management, operating warehouse equipment, distributing goods throughout the hospital, and other duties as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory control.
- Knowledge of WHMIS and transportation of dangerous goods regulations.
- Proficiency in safe warehouse operations.
- Strong organizational abilities and basic computer skills.
- Capability to operate warehouse machinery and lift heavy items.
- Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Must have completed Grade 12 or G.E.D.
- Six months of related experience.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification (or willing to obtain).
- Valid Yukon class 5 driver’s license.
